Traits of Mr. Cheap’s Birth Month

Nancy Zimmerman tagged me for a “traits of your birth month” meme. The rules of the game are you go through the list of traits and comment on their accuracy. Without further ado:

MARCH:

Attractive personality. I’ve been told I’m a “likable” person, which I think is fairly true.

Sexy. Sexy is such a relative term. EVERYONE is sexy to SOMEONE.

Affectionate. Yes. I won’t say anything else to avoid getting too crass this early in the exercise.

Shy and reserved. I actually am, but realized early in life that it would be a real impediment if I let it dictate how I interact with people. Most people who know me probably would never describe me this way.

Secretive. The total opposite. I’m far too open.

Naturally honest. Yes, I can not tell a lie. At least not well. Strange combination that March people are supposed to be secretive and honest.

Generous. Absolutely!

Sympathetic. I am. I’m fairly good at reading people’s moods, which I think tend to naturally make you sympathetic (empathic people are usually sympathetic I guess)

Loves peace and serenity. Probably true. I definitely avoid “high drama” people.

Sensitive to others. See sympathetic

Loves to serve others. Not at all. I like to HELP others, but ideally with as little effort on my part as possible.

Easily angered. I am, but I’m good at bottling it up and releasing it at inappropriate times.

Trustworthy. Would ANYONE consider themselves untrustworthy???

Appreciative and returns kindness. Would ANYONE say no to this? I hate kindness… The best thing in life is when people kick me!!! I do think I’m kind to people who are kind to me, so the second part is true.

Observant and assesses others. Perhaps. This is sometimes true for me and sometimes not…

Revengeful. Yes, so cross me at your own peril. Mwahahaha-hahaha-haha

Loves to dream and fantasize. Yes, it’s more fun than actually getting things done.

Loves traveling. Yes, I’ve been all over.

Loves attention. This is probably true for any blogger. Definitely true for me. Love me!

Hasty decisions in choosing partners. <grin> yes, and this will be the basis for a future post.

Loves home decors. Not at all. I live in a hovel and couldn’t care less. I’ve had to learn a little bit about this just because I renovated the investment condo I bought, but have no innate interest.

Musically talented. Not at all. I’ve tried to learn many instruments (percussion, trumpet, piano) and spent years on them and not gotten anywhere. I think I’m tone deaf.

Loves special things. ??? Wouldn’t EVERYONE love something that they identified as special?!?! If this refers to “knicknacks” then I hate them, but otherwise I think this is true for everyone.

Moody. Probably yes.

Some of these seem to be tautologies. I was flying recently and there was a sign that said “Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated”. How stupid is that? If it was tolerated, that would make it ACCEPTABLE behaviour by definition, wouldn’t it?

So there you have it, if you apply a random collection of characteristics to someone, some will apply and some won’t!
