Four Pillars – 2nd Birthday!

by Mike on May 27, 2009

Yes, it was two years this month when Four Pillars got started. It’s been a lot of fun – Mr. Cheap and I have become pretty good friends since combining our blogs and we’ve cranked out quite a few posts (710) since then.
I wanted to thank our regular readers and commenters (12,700 comments) since you are a big part of the reason this blog keeps going.

Wow, congratulations! 710 posts is great. Presumably, that’s a whole lot of people you’ve had a positive impact on. :)

Cheers,
Mike

Happy blogbirthday! Oblivious is right, a lot of people probably learned a lot from this blog. There’s certainly no slowdown in the quality of the posts, they keep getting better. I believe I’ve been reading from the start, if so the time seems to have gone very quickly although I guess you’d say different.

Congratulations on reaching two milestones:
1) your second blogiversary and
2) staying together

Here’s your gift. A suggestion (also for other bloggers): send out notifications of new posts via Twitter. It ain’t 2007 anymore!

19 Mike May 29, 2009 at 10:59 pm

Thanks all.

Riscario – a lot of people don’t like getting tweets about new posts.

Wow, congrats to you both! That’s an amazing referrals list, too – how did you tally that up? I just passed my own one-year mark – I hope I do as well as you have done by this time next year! Ditto Baker’s comment above, too.

M.E. – Google Analytics provided those stats. Let me know if you need any help with it.
